BLACK EYED PEAS: Monkey Business Tour

Did you watched the ABS-CBN concert special of Black Eyed Peas (BEP) last Sunday (080606). It was awesome and really a night to party. Even at our WW II aged TV
set and a pre-historic antenna which at times seems there was a storm in the boob-tube, I just totally enjoy watching it. Aside from that it was still fresh because the concert happen last Thursday or Friday only (080406 or 080506) whatever. I wanted to be a part of that concert but unfortunately I had no bucks to shell-out. It was an astonishing “5Kiaw” and I’m not the son of Mr. Ayala or Lopez. I’m just a proud son of “PANELA” *wink* so its too big for me L Anyway, it was just an accidental touch on the remote control since we don’t have a “cable” (although I know how to tap aside from being an ECE I also worked in a stupid company somewhere in Pampanga where I was being treated as a slave eating rotten food) and when I saw the logo “Monkey Business Tour-Manila” I just said “Oooooooooooh noooooo!!! This is it! This is it!” Yeah!! It’s the concert of BEP. Music was great. Specially there was our Kababayan-Apl. Every song number was a hit everybody was dancing, singing and of course partying. When Apl’s turn to sing specially his two hits “tagalong” songs it brought the house down….” Lapit mga kaibigan at makinig kayo, ako’y may dala-dalang balita galing sa bayan ko. Nais kong ipamahagi ang mga kwento ang mga pangyayaring nagaganap sa lupang ipinangako….Listen closely Yo!…” It seems that it was the Big Dome’s Anthem. When the “Bebot” was sung by Apl he brought his beloved “Mom” on the stage and she danced together with the other BEP members. Aside from that Wil.I.am the band leader confess that he had a PINAY girlfriend for 8 years and several songs has been written about her. That’s why no wonder why he appreciates Apl brand of songs as well as personality aside from the fact that they were childhood friends. The addition of “Fergie” also adds an icing to the cake which added more flava to BEP music. Overall their performance was sooooo wonderful and every audience went home in party mood. Even though I wasn’t there I can really feel the electricity flowing my nerves…..
